Even if you don’t bet on the race, you are welcome to gather for our Kentucky Derby event. Cheer your lucky number across the finish line and have a piece of Derby Pie.

Music abounds with Heather leading the group. Join us as we move to a variety of musical pieces that inspire us.

The business professionals of Hampton Roads will have their quarterly meeting at Kings Grant House.

We set aside the afternoon to celebrate our mothers and our volunteers. Join us for an English High Tea including finger sandwiches, cookies and a sampling of teas.

Please join us for a morning of flower arranging with the Lynnhaven Garden Club beginning at 10AM and stay for one of our famous brunches at noon honoring all our mothers.

Following our monthly family night dinner, we’re celebrating all of our residents who have served their country in the armed services. We’ve been collecting stories and pictures for each and will cap off the evening with a special patriotic pin honoring each service member. Dinner begins at 5 PM with our ceremony immediately following dessert.

We’re firing up the barbeque grills to cook our hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch as we officially kick off the summer season in style. You don’t want miss this…follow the BBQ aroma to the dining room.

Residents will try their hand at the old art of “YO-YO TRICKS” You’re never too old to play with a yo-yo!

Immediately following dinner, come to our 50’s Sock Hop in the Blue Room! Enjoy the music and reminisce of times in the 50’s, get up and jitterbug, do the twist, and hula hoop... Happy days are here again!
